United target on brink of Chelsea exit - agent

NICOLAS Jackson’s agent, Diomansy Kamara, declared yesterday that the Chelsea striker will leave Stamford Bridge “within 48 hours”.

The 24-year-old forward, who has been linked with Newcastle United, told the Blues earlier this month that he wants to consider a departure this summer and, with fewer than seven days left in the transfer window, a resolution seems imminent.

Chelsea are prepared to honour Jackson's request should the appropriate bid materialise, but would equally be content for the Senegalese forward to remain.

Speaking to Footmercato, Kamara, who acts for Jackson, delivered a decisive statement.
