Sea rescue after reports of kayaker in trouble

A KAYAKER and two paddle-boarders were rescued after getting into difficulty off the Northumberland coast.

Rescuers were called following reports of a kayaker in trouble near Budle Bay at around 4.10pm on Saturday.
While en route to the incident, rescuers received further information that two paddleboarders had gone to assist the kayaker and were unable to get back to shore.
