Schar set on seeing out career at United

FABIAN Schar is expected to hold talks on his Newcastle United future in the next “few weeks” but admits he wants to end his career at St James’ Park.
The former Switzerland defender retired from the international stage to focus on Newcastle and even though he will be 34 in December, he wants one last dance with the Magpies.
Schar who headed home a crucial goal in the 2-0 win over Tottenham feels he has “at least” one more trophy in him at United.
With his current deal set to expire at the end of this season, having signed an extension in April, Schar is eager to remain on Tyneside.
