Ramsey's relief adds to boss's joy

NEWCASTLE star Jacob Ramsey has spoken of his relief after netting his first United goal since his £41m move from Aston Villa.

Ramsey slammed home in the second half against Tottenham on Tuesday night, sparking wild celebrations in the away end.

In truth, the three points came against a poor Spurs side, who subsequently sacked Thomas Frank yesterday morning.

But after three consecutive defeats in the Premier League, this was a vital win for Eddie Howe.

He had been questioned over his transfer policy in recent weeks - but Ramsey delivered.
