A HOST OF FAMOUS FACES ARE READY TO FACE TV'S TOUGHEST CHALLENGE CELEBRITY SAS: WHO DARES WINS. BY LYNN RUSK

- BY LYNN RUSK

Pushed to the limit

IT’S been almost a decade since SAS: Who Dares Wins first hit our TV screens, the reality series that puts contestants through a series of gruelling special-forces training exercises.

Throughout the show, recruits are thrust into hostile and unforgiving environments, where they're pushed to their mental and physical limits. These challenges are overseen by the show’s directing staff, an elite team of ex-special forces soldiers.

Since its launch in October 2015, the series has aired eight main runs and six celebrity spin-offs. Now, it returns with a new group of celebrity recruits ready to take on the ultimate test.

Fourteen faces from the world of music, entertainment and sport have signed up to push their bodies and minds to the limits in the hopes of winning the latest contest.

We will see the likes of ex-footballer and broadcaster Adebayo ‘The Beast’ Akinfenwa; former Premier League footballer Troy Deeney, and professional boxer Conor Benn all being put through their paces.

A formidable trio, they all stand a chance of winning, but how will TV personalities Louie Spence; Tasha Ghouri and Rebecca Loos cope, alongside singer and actress, Hannah Spearritt, and influencer Chloe Burrows?

Also taking part are drag artist/DJ Bimini, former drug smuggler Michaella McCollum, Love Island veteran Adam Collard, and musicians Lady Leshurr and Lucy Spraggan.

In case you've not seen the latter since her days on The X Factor, Lucy transformed into a ripped icon who wouldn’t look out of place in a superhero movie.
