Paddleboard trio pulled from the sea

TWO teenagers and an adult were rescued from a paddleboard after getting caught in the rip tide of the Northumberland coast.

Seahouses RNLI was called to Bamburgh Beach at around 2.40pm on Tuesday to reports of two people on a paddleboard being pushed further out to sea as they struggled against a rip.
Reports were then received that a third person had entered the water to try to help.
