No quick fix for Red Bulls

DESPITE SUMMER TAKEOVER, ON FIELD DIFFICULTIES WON'T GO AWAY
-
NEWCASTLE Red Bulls coach Alan Dickens admits there’s no instant solution to their problems.
Two abject seasons on the pitch are proving hard to shake off following the summer takeover by the energy drinks giant.
While plenty of signings have been announced and a genuine uplift around Kingston Park, results this season have not changed.
Ahead of tonight's home game with Northampton Saints, the Red Bulls have lost 57-5 at Sale, 38-15 at Exeter and 39-17 at home to Saracens.
With another big crowd expected at Kingston Park tonight for the Gal-lager PREM encounter, head coach Dickens said: “We’re honest, professional people up here, and we're not sat here pretending everything’s rosy.
“The performances over the last couple of weeks have not been good enough, and it's on all of us to work together and put it right.
“We'd love to press the fast-forward button but the reality is it takes time, and like we've said from the outset, this isn’t a quick fix.
