DUNSTON UTS manager Jon McDonald admitted his side dropped their standards in a home draw with East Division rivals Consett.

Despite struggling to meet their usual levels, McDonald's side took the lead on two occasions as Rory Edwards and David Robinson found the net in each half.

However, the spoils were shared thanks to equalisers from Consett duo Isaac Walker and Ben Ramsey - and that left McDonald to admit: “Performance-wise, we weren't at our best, but we have to give credit to Consett. They were really sharp, but it's another point closer to where we want to be.
