Longstaff reveals tears at departure

SEAN LONGSTAFF Has admitted that it was “really sad” to walk away from some of his best friends at Newcastle United following an “emotional” sendoff.
Longstaff completed a move to Leeds United last week to bring an end to the Geordie’s 19-year spell with his boyhood club.
The Newcastle fan certainly lived the dream. Longstaff made 214 appearances, lined up alongside younger brother Matty, scored memorable goals against PSG and Southampton under the lights at St James’ Park and was part of the squad who won the club's first major domestic trophy in 70 years.
