The school is being rebuilt as part of a £50m investment into education across north Northumberland.

The programme involves a conversion to a two-tier school system and the creation of “excellent” education facilities for learners of all ages across the Berwick partnership of schools.

Four options have been put forward ahead of the submission of a full business case this autumn.

More than 150 people attended a community event at the current school to view the available options.

Feedback from the event and an online consultation, which ran until July 18, will shape the business case, which will then go before the council’s cabinet.
