Keeper Young heading back to Salford on loan

SUNDERLAND goalkeeper Matty Young has rejoined Salford City on loan for the 2025/26 season.
-
The 18-year-old returns to the Peninsula Stadium after making 27 appearances for the Ammies during the 2024/25 campaign.
A product of Sunderland's Academy, Young recently featured for the club's senior team in a preseason friendly against Portuguese champions Sporting CP at the Estadio Algarve.
