Investment underpins 'a year of strong progress'

WHITE goods repair group Pacifica has reported rising demand for its services with its boss describing a "year of progress".

New accounts show the County Durham-based business, which fields engineers for repairs of household appliances, saw turnover rise to £42.8m, up from £36.1m in 2024, an 18.6% increase year-on-year.

Operating losses widened to £1.38m from £772,000, although Pacifica pointed to a 4.3% boost to gross margin, bringing it to 36.8%, and adjusted Ebitda of £2.16m, compared with £1.1m the year before.

Job volumes across the national operator rose by 50,000, to 380,000. Pacifica said the performance reflected continued expansion of contract activity and the first full-year impact of new client relationships implemented during FY24 and FY25.
