if they wanted to bring Geordie Anderson back to Tyneside
The Journal
|October 29, 2025
NEWCASTLE United could be hit with an astronomical bill if they chose to go back in for old boy Elliot Anderson.
-
With Eddie Howe admitting he would be interested in resigning the midfielder earlier this season, the battle to win his signature could be a fierce one. Newcastle offloaded Anderson to Nottingham Forest in June 2024 after being forced into the sale to avoid a six-point deduction from the Premier League.
With Newcastle luring Ross Wilson from Forest as sporting director, there are high hopes that the man who helped prise Anderson from Tyneside holds the keys to getting him home. But a sky-high asking price would appear to be on the cards.
