Green light for plans to redevelop village's hall

PLANS to redevelop a key village facility have been approved.

The partial rebuild of Jubilee Hall in West Rainton, County Durham, will commence later this year.

The building's existing front extension will be demolished and rebuilt from the floor up.

Jubilee Hall, on North Street, was originally built in 1880 as a drill hall.
