FORMER Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce reckons his former club must throw caution to the wind in bid to stay in the Premier League.

Speaking exclusively on the Footy Accumulators No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, in partnership with BOYLE Sports, Allardyce and former Sheffield Wednesday coach Chris Powell discussed Sunderland's chances of surviving in the Premier League this year.
Allardyce believes Sunderland's first game against West Ham is bordering on a must-win if they want to stay in the league and insists the players must tap into the emotion around the club.
