BALACLAVA-CLAD moped riders led police on a pursuit through a city centre before escaping officers in the woods.

Durham Constabulary’s entire Motorcycle Section and Traffic Cars team were deployed to Durham City on Sunday afternoon following reports that a mob known as “The Balaclava Club’ had been spotted in the area.
