Artist Jim back in North East

A FAMOUS face was back in Newcastle - and very excited to be here - for the opening of an exhibition of his artwork which captures the landscapes of Northumberland in all their bold and beautiful glory.

Jim Moir - also known by his stage name Vic Reeves - was at The Biscuit Factory in the Ouseburn to launch a new collection of his work, called Knot Twister Prologue, that has been inspired by the county’s birdlife and landmarks. The comedian and artist has enjoyed much success with earlier solo exhibitions at the gallery, including one there last year which included watercolours of photographs he had taken in Newcastle back in the early nineties while touring in The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer.
