The Island
|April 29, 2025
On a sluggish evening in Delhi, with Royal Challengers Bengaluru wobbling in their chase, it was Virat Kohli's unwavering energy that helped Krunal Pandya find his rhythm. Backed by constant encouragement from the other end, Krunal weathered a slow start and delivered a match-winning innings.
-
Together, the pair stitched a 119-run stand off 84 balls for the fourth wicket, with Krunal contributing more than 60 percent of the runs.
After the game, Krunal was quick to credit Kohli for his support, calling his senior partner's infectious energy a crucial factor behind his turnaround.
"Virat's energy is very infectious. It passes on to you also," Krunal told IPLT20.com. "He was constantly backing me and pushing me. So I guess I'll give a lot of credit to him also for my knock where he kept backing me."
