Imposition of sanctions by some countries on Sri Lankans

Some countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada, have sought to impose various sanctions on Sri Lankans some civil, some military. Quite naturally, the parties affected are unhappy. They want the Sri Lankan government to protest and get these sanctions lifted.
