Four apprehended with smuggled pharmaceutical products

The Navy detected a consignment of smuggled items, a dinghy, and apprehended four suspects during a search operation conducted in the Ippantivu and Karuwalakuda areas in Kalpitiya.

Among the recovered items were 4,605 medicinal pills, 15,627 medicinal ointments, 494 bottles of syrup and 4,020 packets of medicinal drugs in 17 sacks.
