Excavations at Chemmani-Siththupattu mass grave to resume on 21 July

Judicial Medical Officer Dr. Pranavan Sellaiya informed the Jaffna Magistrate's Court on Tuesday (15) that the next phase of excavations at the Chemmani-Siththupattu cemetery mass grave site, in Jaffna, would commence on 21 July.

Excavation work had been halted since 10 July to number and preserve the human skeletal remains unearthed thus far.
