An open letter to Prime Minister: Need for introducing positive thinking to school curriculum

May I suggest that you consider introducing 'Positive Thinking' as a subject to the school curriculum for all students as soon as possible? Why I say this, is that it will help our children (the future of our nation) to develop a positive way of thinking, which in turn will help them build self-confidence and facilitate them to look at problems as challenges/opportunities and address them positively with resilience and confidence. This practice will help them to excel with distinction in all their endeavours in the academic field, in particular, and everyday life, in general.

I am sure you are aware of the fact that most of the children in our country, especially in the rural areas, are brought up by parents instilling fear, caution and much negativity (they may do so lovingly not knowing the ill effects of such practices). For example, they would talk about the 'bogey man' and other such stories to keep children from becoming too adventurous
