Tandem skydivers die in 'tragic accident' in Devon

Two skydivers have died in what has been described as a tragic accident” at an airfield in Devon.

Emergency services were called to the area of Dunkeswell Aerodrome at around 1pm on Friday following concerns for the welfare of two people, who were in a tandem jump.
The skydivers were confirmed dead at the scene, and their families have been informed, Devon and Cornwall Police told The Independent.
A police spokesperson said: “Scene guards remain in place and enquiries are ongoing by the relevant agencies.”
