BUSINESSMAN'S FUND RAISED CASH TO HELP RETURN TEEN'S BODY TO HIS GRIEVING FAMILY IN SYRIA

"AHMAD'S mother had said 'please promise me you will send my baby back home.”

It was a promise that a Huddersfield businessman was determined to fulfil and he was able to do so, thanks to the generosity of more than 700 people.

Maneer Siddique has now thanked those who helped the family of murdered teenager Ahmad Al Ibrahim, who was 16 when he was stabbed to death.

Maneer, of Marsh Tailors in Huddersfield, set up a JustGiving page that helped pay for Ahmad’s body to be returned to the country of his birth, Syria, after he was killed in a knife attack in Huddersfield town centre.
