A MUM has created a 'Letters to Heaven' Christmas postbox for people who have lost loved ones.

Sherryl Smorthit Tattersley came up with the idea after feeling that bereaved families and friends should "have a place for their grief to go".

Sherryl, 44, from Elland, Halifax, said the plan came under tragic circumstances after she lost her mother-in-law in 2024, which hit the family - and particularly Sherryl's children, hard.
