BUT SOMEONE LIKES TO DO IT: MEET THE EAGER 'EXTREME CLEANER'

- By LYRA AULD

IT'S DIRTY WORK...

Danielle suited up to clean

FOR some, cleaning the house is a dreaded task. However, one Huddersfield mum has made a living out of turning some of Yorkshire's most disgusting houses into homes that “families can be proud to call home”.

Cherelle Nugent, 36, travels across West Yorkshire and beyond, specialising in dealing with hoarder homes, as well as biohazard and trauma cleaning - bringing even the most dismal of properties back to life.

Cherelle said: “People don’t realise that living in houses that are almost uninhabitable is a real side effect of experiencing a mental health crisis, for example, hoarding.

“No one lives in this way by choice. For me, it’s not even about getting a thank-you - it’s about knowing that people can start to rebuild their lives in a home they really deserve.”
