MUMBA BELIEVES ARGYLE CAN COMPLETE MISSION IMPROBABLE

- CHRIS FRRINGTON

YOU CAN'T GIVE UP

BALI Mumba is ready to 'give it everything' in the final four games of the season as Plymouth Argyle battle to beat the drop from the Championship into League One.

Mumba was a key part of the Pilgrims' 2022/23 League One title-winning squad which picked up 101 points during a memorable campaign, which he spent on loan from Norwich City. He completed a £1 million transfer that summer and has gone on to play regularly for them since then.

Even though Argyle are bottom of the table with only four more matches to play this season, the 23-year-old wing-back still has the belief they can stay up.

The Pilgrims gave their chances of escaping relegation a boost when they came from behind to win 2-1 against promotion-chasing Sheffield United at Home Park on Saturday, with Ryan Hardie and substitute Muhamed Tijani both scoring late goals.
