KEVIN Wilkins and Miki Booth played their best game in Men's B as they saw off the challenge of Dave Gale and Simon Dixon.

Wilkins and Booth too strong for Gale & Dixon

Although they started slowly and went 2-0 down, they came back and won the next six games to take the first set.

The second set was similar with Miki and Kevin playing well and they won that set too, but in the final set, Dave's serve came back and Miki and Kevin struggled to return them losing the set 6-4, but winning 6-2, 6-3, 4-6.

Dave and Simon played again a few days later and got off to a flier taking the first set 6-0 against Andy Regan and Pete Ireland. Things changed in the second set as Pete and Andy fought back to win it 6-4 and the final set was a lot closer. David and Simon had a bit of late form and managed to win it and take the match 6-0, 4-6, 6-4.

When Vince and Connor Keep played Jon Jacobs and Lee Horton it was a much closer match than the final score of 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 suggests, while Alex Stephenson and Dom Sive- wright were too strong for Brian and Jack Morgan, winning 6-3, 6-2, 6-2.

Men's B leaders Lewis Edwards and Richard Cooper took on third-placed Darren Courtnell and Chris Pearce. Given the form of both pairs, the match was always going to be a tight affair and it was Chris and Darren who started the brighter, only for Richard and Lewis to come back. All four players served well with Chris and Darren sending down a few aces, but it was Richard and Lewis who won the next two sets 6-3, 6-3.
