Pupils' life-shaping Spain trip

RESIDENTIAL 'PACKED WITH HANDS-ON EXPERIENCES'

MARINE Academy Primary pupils have returned from a life-shaping residential in Spain, where they immersed themselves in the local culture, explored sustainable farming and even held their own in a football match against local students.

The week-long trip was packed with hands-on experiences designed to build confidence and global awareness.

Children explored the organic farmland at Finca El Piñero, cooking traditional paella, and learning about climate change and the importance of tourism in supporting rural economies.
