Ocean City welcomes Shark Month

A MONTH-long programme of shark-themed events is returning to Plymouth and organisers are promising it will be “bigger and better than ever.
After a “hugely successful” debut last year, Shark Month will be heading back to Royal William Yard this month to combine conservation with education and entertainment.
Taking place until Thursday, July 31, the event is a partnership with the Shark Trust, a leading international conservation charity which is based in Britain’s Ocean City.
Vistors will be invited to celebrate and support the charity's work while enjoying a packed programme of “awareness, art and advocacy” activities, set to be an “unmissable extravaganza for ocean lovers of all ages”.
