Horror moment sparked amazing 16st weight loss

A MOTHER who shed over half her body weight has described the terrifying moment that sparked her 16-stone transformation.

Paula Glossop decided to reclaim her life after realising she was no longer fast enough to keep her young daughter safe from harm.

The 49-year-old, from Plymouth, was shocked into action when her daughter, Charlotte, then aged three, ran toward a main road.

Paula said: "I tried to chase her, but I just couldn't move fast enough. A lovely lady grabbed her before she reached the road. That moment terrified me. I knew something had to change."

The heartbreak continued months later when Paula was unable to join friends on a walk to a lighthouse because of her physical condition.

She subsequently joined the weight loss club Slimming World, where she discovered a flexible eating plan.
