All three of the strikers got on the scoresheet when the Pilgrims won 4-0 away to bottom-of-the-table Burton Albion on Saturday, with Tolaj scoring twice while Oseni and Pepple, who played as a second half substitute, got one goal apiece.

Tolaj and Oseni both started the game at the Pirelli Stadium as Argyle head coach Tom Cleverley selected two forwards in his team rather than one, as he had done previously this season.

It is now five goals in eight games for Tolaj since the Swiss striker joined Argyle in a £1.2 million transfer from Port Vale towards the end of August after his double against Burton.

Tolaj said: "I was really happy for all the strikers we score, for the confidence for the next game, because if you are on the bench you have to make the impact, and that's what Bim did.

"He made the impact, he scored. Owen and me, we scored again, so it's really nice healthy competition and hopefully we can keep going."

Tolaj added: "It's the first game we are playing two up top. I thought I have done well with Owen to press and to get at them, and even better when you score for the confidence."
