A TAXI driver from Plymouth has been praised for the way in which he handled an unusual situation' last month when a passenger gave birth during a journey. Bobby Bailey, a driver for TaxiFirst, was able to get both mother and baby safely to hospital when she unexpectedly gave birth whilst sitting next to him.
Bobby picked Ebony-Paige Blank, 23, and her mum up from Plymouth city centre on February 28. But shortly after setting off Ebony's water broke and she went into labour.
