Fundraising to bring pool back into use

CAMPAIGNERS working to reopen a 'cherished but crumbling' swimming pool in South Devon are calling on the community to come and support their fundraising event this weekend.

Closed in 2022 after a half-century of summer swims, the Dartington pool was a cornerstone of local life in the village near Totnes.
Now, the Dartington Recreation Association (DRA) has secured planning permission for an ambitious revival: a 25-metre pool, heated, accessible, powered by renewables, open to all from May until October.
