Perhaps the UK's most famous clarinettist, Emma Johnson, will be performing at Plymouth Concerts on Sunday, 12 October at 3 pm, at Stoke Damerel Church, writes Clive Jenkins.
Since winning the 1984 BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, she has gone on to perform worldwide and record a huge number of CDs.
