Argyle's style of play is the perfect fit for Danish stopper

MATHIAS Ross is happy with the way he has adapted to playing for Plymouth Argyle after moving to England for the first time in his career.
The 24-year-old Danish defender has admitted he feels comfortable in the playing style under head coach Tom Cleverley and believes his attributes, such as his strength in the air, suit League One. While it has been a promising start to his time at Argyle, Ross has declared there is better to come from him as he plays more and more games.
The tall centre-back joined the Pilgrims on a three-year contract in late August after being without a club since leaving top Turkish side Galatasaray earlier in the summer.
While Ross had been training on his own as he figured out the next move in his career, it was inevitable that it would take him time to get up to the fitness levels of his new Argyle teammates and he has gradually done that.
That has led to him making three consecutive 90-minute appearances in games against Tottenham Hotspur under-21s in the Vertu Trophy and both Burton Albion and Wigan Athletic in League One.
In total, Ross has made six starts and one substitute appearance for the Pilgrims and he said: "I'm getting there. I feel much better than I did six weeks ago when I came.
"Now I have played three times 90 so I'm getting up to speed now. I have played almost since I came to the club. Actually it has been quite easy to adapt to.
