Argyle show their attacking prowess to progress in Cup

HERE are the player ratings of Herald Sport's Argyle reporter Chris Errington from the Greens' 3-2 Carabao Cup first round win against Queens Park Rangers at Home Park.
-
Luca Ashby-Hammond 5 - Has conceded seven goals in the first three games of the season and while there has been some poor defending from Argyle when the ball has been played into their box his shot-stopping has not been good enough either.
Kornel Szucs 7 - Moved from central defence to right-back for this Carabao Cup tie and did a decent job of getting forward to help out Argyle's attacking play.
Brendan Wiredu 6 - It will have done a lot of good for his confidence that he scored his first goal for Argyle after his summer signing from Fleetwood Town, and his 48th minute header was the start of their fightback from 2-0 down to 3-2 ahead, all within the space of 31 minutes.
Victor Palsson 6 - The Pilgrims were again poor at defending balls into their penalty area but Palsson did have the assist for when Wiredu cut QPR's lead to 2-1 and the Iceland international almost equalised soon afterwards but his attempt was cleared off the line.
