Angela Rayner's return cannot be ruled out

I AM inclined to give Angela Rayner the benefit of the doubt, for the simple reason that she was honest enough to admit to her error or oversight.

The nature of her mistake was not that serious, and anyone of us could and do make similar mistakes over tax liabilities.

In terms of the ethics entailed by the Ministerial Code of Conduct, Angela did the right thing in resigning Government position. She can return still as an MP to the back benches and be an effective voice and representative of her constituents.
