Power generation capacity of J&K to rise by 47% in upcoming fiscal

In the upcoming fiscal, 'Jammu and Kashmir is all set to have nearly 47 percent of extra hydro power generation capacity'.
According to the official figures available with the news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Jammu and Kashmir will have an additional 1685.7 Megawatts (MWs) of power generation capacity in addition to the existing 3540.15 MWs.
