CHRIS Wilder insists he respects Bristol City too much to start thinking it's "job done" after his Sheffield United side took a major step towards Premier League promotion, writes CRAIG JOHNS.

The former Boro boss watched on as his side beat Bristol City 3-0 at Ashton Gate in the first leg of their Championship play-off semi-final. Wilder is looking to end the Blades' torrid play-off record of having never won one in eight previous attempts.

After beating Liam Manning's side comfortably in the away leg, Sheffield United look well-placed to make the Wembley final, with the second leg to come at Bramall Lane tonight.

But having interrupted celebrations between his players and the away end on Thursday evening to order his players back to the dressing room, Wilder insisted it was just a matter of respect and ensuring nobody gets carried away.
