Volunteers get their very own special event

VOLUNTEERS from Redcar and Cleveland are being celebrated at a special event.

The Volunteers Forum is organised by Redcar and Cleveland Council and the event aims to bring together current and prospective volunteers, local organisations and services.

Organisers say the day it will be a chance to share stories and explore new opportunities in the community.

There will be stalls showcasing a variety of local volunteering projects, training workshops, and talks offering insight into the personal and community benefits of volunteering.

Organisations attending the event include Cleveland Fire Brigade, Dementia Services, Harbour, Thrive, We Are With You, Citizens Advice, AECOM, as well as various council services.
