Two hospitals set for essential safety upgrades

£5.2M HAS BEEN AWARDED FOR WORKS
HOSPITAL chiefs have welcomed a cash boost which will allow vital works to be carried out at two Teesside hospitals.
University Hospital of North Tees and University Hospital of Hartlepool will both have essential repairs carried out with the money, which has been made available through the Department of Health and Social Care's Estates Safety Fund announced recently.
North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust was awarded £5,209,000 to invest in the Stockton and Hartlepool hospitals.
