Thought-provoking film garners global acclaim

A TEESSIDE University student's final project has received recognition from film festivals around the world.
Adewumi Oluwasemilore's has gained international recognition for his award-winning film, Blackman's Reality, which was filmed in Middlesbrough.
The short film follows character Jaiye Thomas, who is accused of a serious crime.
The 27-year-old originally created the film for his final project of his Master's Degree in Producing for Film and Television at Teesside University.
Blackman's Reality has since garnered acclaim at various film festivals around the world, including in Sweden, Greece, the United States of America, and India.
