Raising cash with winter wonderland

A 'CHRISTMAS obsessed' Teessider has turned his home into a winter wonderland to raise cash for charity.

Since he was a child Jason Oliver has harboured a love of festive lights and his display at his own home in Marton has got bigger and bigger each year.

This year Jason, who works as a manager with North Yorkshire Council, decided to create a huge show and invite everyone to make a donation and boost funds for the Alzheimer's Society.

The Sunstar Illuminations, at Marton's Sunstar Grove, have been officially switched on, with a firework display, hot drinks and nibbles to celebrate.
