HELLBERG SEES TOMMY AS A MOBILE PLAYER WHO 'PULLS TO LEFT'

KIM Hellberg moved to explain why Tommy Conway has been operating from the left wing in recent Middlesbrough games.

While Boro have been struggling for goals of late, the fact their No 9 spends so much time wide of the penalty area has been a real talking point for many - with Conway working incredibly hard for the team but struggling for goals.

Boro have been struggling on that front of later as a collective, with more and more teams operating in a low-block against them and offering little space in the final third for Boro to exploit.

And it's for that exact reason that Hellberg has been encouraging Conway to float out to the left more often, with the Boro boss keen for Conway to find the areas of the pitch where he'll have space to make use of his qualities.
