Missing play-offs 'unthinkable' for Bears boss Parr
The Gazette
|August 29, 2025
MANAGER Gavin Parr is fully expecting himself and his team to be celebrating playoff qualification after tonight's penultimate league match at Scunthorpe.
While taking nothing for granted the Agilia Bears’ boss has justifiable confidence as the Teessiders need just one point from their final two matches to push themselves out of reach of only remaining rivals Workington in the race for a top four Championship finish.
‘And, holding a 55-35 advantage from last week's heated clash between the sides at the ECCO Arena, the Bears don’t even need another victory as most pundits can see little way that the Teessiders won't get the aggregate point at the home of the bottom of the table Scorpions.
