Luggage consideration an open and shut case

THIS week the preparation begins for the Railways Bill. I have been waiting a long time to get to the point where I can actually debate what we are doing to improve accessibility.
There are lots of issues with the system right now.
If we were starting from scratch, you would not have set it up this way.
That is one reason that the current Government is trying to bring it all under one banner. Every Government for the last 30 years has avoided the issue of just buying low floor trains which make it better for everyone.
We had a presentation from a group called the National Centre for Accessible Travel (NCAT) about the experience of disabled people, and pretty much everything that was said I had an experience of.
Many disabled people have had really good experiences, but when it was bad it was a massive challenge.
