'Just get on with it', death row gran says

TEESSIDE MUM HAS BEEN IN JAIL IN BALI FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING FOR 12 YEARS
A Teesside mum who is facing execution by firing squad for drug smuggling in Indonesia has told her jailers to “get on with it”.
Lindsey Sandiford, 69, who has been imprisoned for 12 years, issued a blunt message to her executioners.
The mother-of-two, originally from Redcar, was apprehended with a £1.6m cocaine stash in Bali back in 2012. Indonesia's punishment for such offences is brutal, with the majority of drug traffickers and dealers receiving capital punishment.
Those condemned to die in Indonesia are escorted to an outdoor location where they may opt to sit or remain standing whilst gunmen target their hearts.
A concluding bullet to the head follows if required.
