Edwards shares plan of attack

ALTHOUGH failure to beat RC Deportivo this afternoon would see Middlesbrough head into the new season without a victory, Rob Edwards is still placing little emphasis on the result of the Riverside friendly.
Boro host the Spanish second-tier side in what is their final friendly of the summer. It's Edwards' first time leading Boro out at his new home ground.
On how he's settling at the club, and how work has been going so far, Edwards told BBC Radio Tees everyone had been 'incredible' to allow him and his coaches to really settle.
He said: "I've really enjoyed this first month. The results aren't the be-all and end-all, but the performances matter.
