FOOTBALLERS who played under Kim Hellberg have called the Swedish manager an “incredibly good coach” ahead of his introduction as Middlesbrough boss.

It has been reported this week, via reports from Sweden, that Boro have reached a verbal agreement with Hellberg to become the club’s new manager.

Hellberg’s name has been heard around the Championship previously, as the 37-year-old was linked with the vacant job at Swansea City.

Despite being a candidate for multiple roles in Britain, Hellberg is largely unknown among fans, as the Swede has spent his entire managerial career in Scandinavia. But the Boro dressing room should have little to worry about, according to Hellberg’s former players.
